Why we built MeterPulse
Your readings never leave your device
MeterPulse was designed from day one around a simple principle: your household utility data is yours alone. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what that means.
01 Information We Collect
MeterPulse collects absolutely no personal information. We do not ask for your name, email, location, or any account details, because there is no account to create. Meter readings you enter are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
02 How We Use Information
Because nothing is collected, there is nothing for us to use, analyze, aggregate, or sell. We have no servers receiving your readings, so there is no usage data on our end to process for advertising, research, or any other purpose.
03 Data Storage
Every meter reading, calculated usage delta, and reminder you set is stored exclusively on your own device's local storage. There is no cloud sync and no remote backup performed by MeterPulse. If you delete the app, that local history is gone with it.
04 Third-Party Services
MeterPulse does not integrate any analytics kits, advertising networks, or third-party trackers. No software development kit inside the app phones home with your activity or device identifiers.
05 Data Security
Since your meter data never leaves your device, it is never exposed in transit, never sits on a server we operate, and can never be part of a remote data breach on our side. Your device's own security protections are what safeguard your readings.
06 Children's Privacy
MeterPulse does not knowingly collect information from anyone, regardless of age, because it collects no information from anyone at all. The app is safe for use by any household member, including children helping with chores.
07 Your Control
There are no accounts to manage, no consent settings to configure, and nothing stored remotely to request the deletion of. Uninstalling MeterPulse permanently removes every reading, delta, and reminder from your device.
08 Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect new features or clarify existing language. Any changes will be reflected in this section with a revised effective date, and continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
